North Arkansas Regional Medical Center has been recognized by the Arkansas Hospitals Association as the first Arkansas hospital to launch SHARE. NARMC graces the cover of the spring issue of Arkansas Hospitals’ magazine in recognition of this achievement.
SHARE stands for State Health Alliance for Records Exchange, and is a statewide system that gives secure, real-time access to electronic patient health information to various healthcare providers throughout Arkansas.
NARMC President and CEO, Vince Leist explains the benefits of SHARE:
NARMC continues to make significant strides in quality of service under Leist’s leadership. A report released by HealthGrades, the nation's most trusted, independent source of physician information and hospital quality ratings, once again recognized North Arkansas Regional Medical Center as a 5-star facility for joint replacement for the second year in a row as well as a first time 5-Star recipient for treatment of respiratory failure in 2013.
