Two people were injured this morning when their vehicles collided on the southbound side of U-S 65 just before 8:30 .

State troopers say 37-year-old Tiffany Tran of Branson had a tire blow out on her Cadillac Escalade, forcing the vehicle to skid into the path of southbound Ford Taurus, driven by 39-year-old Shannon Contreras of Galena. The crash occurred between F Highway and Bee Creek Road. Traffic was blocked for a time on the inside southbound lane.

Crews from Western Taney County Fire and Taney County Ambulance District transported the patients to Skaggs Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.
