Taney County's sales tax receipts are down more than 18-percent over the report from the same month a year ago. Taney County Treasurer Helen Soutee reports that today's numbers indicate a drop of 18-point-485 percent from March of 2009.

For the year to date, receipts are down 3-point-099 percent compared to the first three months of 2009.

The sales tax figures indicate what was received by Taney County from the Missouri Department of Revenue after being paid in by businesses through February 20th.
