A body of what appears to be a female was discovered in Crooked Creek near Silver Valley Road area in Harrison. 

Boone County Sheriff Danny Hickman stated that the body was discoverd Sunday by a fisherman.

Hickman said that the victim appeared to be a female, but no identification has been made. 

The body has been sent to the State Crime Lab in Little Rock to determine cause of death and identity.
