Four people were arrested late Monday night after the Newton County Sheriff's Office and the 14th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at a home in Mt. Judea Arkansas.

Sheriff Keith Slape says information his office received led to finding a working meth lab at the residence of Ricky Freeman, Jr., who was taken into custody along with 19-year-old Andy Davidson of Western Grove, 21-year-old Brandon Middleton of Vendor, and 19-year-old Lucas Smith of Vendor.

All are being charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and simultaneous possession of firearms and drugs.

Sheriff Slape says the men will go before a magistrate for a bond hearing. They are being held at the Boone County Jail in Harrison.
