The 27th Annual Arkansas Fiddlers' Convention was March 24th through 26th this year and we were privileged to host Jim Daniel from Aurora, Missouri, Dale Gayle from Huntsville, Texas, and John Blevins from Van, Texas, in our studios to give our listeners just a taste of what attendees can experience there!

Mike Patrick and all the wonderful folks at Grand Country, Grand Jubilee, and Branson Country USA invited us and our listeners out to enjoy some of the best entertainment in Branson Friday, February 25, 2011. 

KHOZ's listeners enjoyed free shows featuring Mike Patrick, New South, Jackie Brown, Todd Bradshaw, Jamie Haage, and Mike Patrick.  In between the free shows, listeners and attendees were treated to a free ice cream social.

NAPHE\'s 1st Annual Healthy Living Expo featured great healthy food, lots of exhibitors, free health screenings, and demonstrations.

A great time was had by all who turned out for Halloween on the Square 2010 in downtown Harrison.

KHOZ and NARMC held the 2010 Health Fair in Harrison on Friday and Saturday October 15th and 16th.

It was a great success!  Hundreds received free medical screenings as well as free services offered by area businesses.

Friday, September 17th, marked the final day of the Twenty is Plenty campaign for 2010.

We hosted several area dignataries and volunteers who manned the phones and drive-throughs at McDonald's to collect money.

KHOZ, McDonald's, and the Harrison Fire Department held the first annual Pool Party for Kids at the Harrison City Pool.

Admission was just one school supply.  It was a great way to collect school supplies for kids and celebrate the last day of summer before heading back to school!

Operation Haiti Relief with Doc Lee, The Boone County Senior Center and KHOZ was a HUGE success due to YOU the listener's and visitors of KHOZ and KHOZ.com.

A big thanks to the Lee Family Band and Shades of Swing for the great music.  Thanks to Hudson's Supermarket and Edwards Grocery for the donations and The Boone County Senior Center for their hard work and dedication to seeing this event take place.

Over five pallets of food and non-perishable items were donated and will be transported to Haiti via Convoy of Hope from Springfield, MO.  A special thanks to Convoy of Hope for their tireless efforts in helping those affected by natural disaster and those less fortunate.

Trying to get the Studios looking sharp.  Long overdue paint jobs and updates to the offices as well.  Special thanks to Dewey McGarrah for all his help and hard work on getting the painting done.

Dixie Outfitters in Branson celebrated their Grand Opening on July 3rd and 4th with a special appearance by Ben Jones, who played "Cooter" on the Dukes of Hazzard.  Ben signed autographs and posed for pictures for several hours on both days.    KHOZ was there for a live broadcast on Friday.
