KHOZ 2012 Texaco Country Showdown Local Competition at the Branson Landing The backdrop of the beautiful Branson Landing was the ideal setting for the 2012 KHOZ Texaco Country Showdown. Clay Cooper and his band rocked the crowd with their special brand of country and so did the Showdown contestants.
Coming in third place was last years’ champion, who made it all the way to Nashville, the talented Gwendlyn Kay. Taking second place this year was Leon Troyer, with a gorgeous voice and an obvious appreciation by the crowd for his talent.
Join KHOZ 102.9 in congratulating all of this year’s talented entries and a special KHOZ nod to this years’ winner, Free Whiskey. Congratulations to the entire band:
