Jon Hal Wood, age 77, of Flippin, Arkansas, entered into rest on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  Mr. Wood was born in Yellville, Arkansas on January 31, 1935 to the late Bernard and Helen (Marberry) Wood.  He served his country in the U.S. Air Force 1955 to 1957.  Prior to retirement he was a welder in the construction industry.

Surviving to cherish his memory are: son James L. Wood of Flippin, Arkansas; four daughters: Ramona Lynn Dotson of Quinlan, Texas; Robin Denson of San Antonio, Texas; Sherry Johansen of Arizona;  Lisa Davidson of New Port Richey, Florida; a sister, Darlene Barham of Spring, Texas; eleven grandchildren; and  nine great-grandchildren.
