Georgia Lee Powell, Age 71 of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 at her home. She was born June 15, 1941 to the late Clarence W. (Jack) and Ruby (Ott) Hall in Yellville. A lifelong resident of the area, she married Kenneth Powell on March 18, 1958. She was a seamstress for Martin-Dingman Leather Manufacturing Company, and the Marion County Shirt Factory. Georgia was a member of Lead Hill Church of Christ, and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth, of the home; two sons: Terry Powell of Crane, Missouri; and Tommy Powell and wife, Michelle, of Diamond City, Arkansas; a sister, Sue Moreau of Yellville; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: J.C. Hall, and J. A. Hall; a granddaughter, Danielle Elizabeth Powell; and a great-grandchild.
Visitation for Mrs. Powell will be Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.
A Graveside service will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:00 am at Keesee Cemetery near Yellville, with Bro. Ervin Curtis officiating.
