Harry Kelton Middleton, age 91, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Ozark Health Medical Center in Clinton, Arkansas. He was born in Rock Creek, Arkansas on October 02, 1921 to Frank and Vira (Baker) Middleton.
Kelt was a veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II. He was a truck driver and worked at the sawmill for many years. Kelt loved to deer hunt, dig ginseng and coon hunt. But his greatest pleasure came from spending time with his family and friends and telling his stories to anyone who would listen.
Kelt was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Qualls) Middleton; one son James Middleton; his parents; three brothers, Henry, Kenneth and Joe Middleton; and one sister, Bonnie Dye.
Survivors include six daughters, Jean Chandler of Muldrow, OK, Betty Woodall of Gentry, Patsy Appleton of Gateway, Donna Howard of Rogers, Beverly Gray of Harriet and Theresa Wyatt of St. Joe; four sons, Jimmy Middleton of Viola, Timmy Middleton of Harriet, Elvin Middleton and Brandon Middleton, both of Marshall; one brother, Marion Middleton and one sister, Dorothy Speers, both of Jessieville; thirty one grandkids; forty-nine great grandkids; and many nieces, nephews and friends who will also mourn his passing.
Funeral Services for Kelt will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Donnie Horton, Bro. Allen Yarbrough and Bro. L.J. Treat officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2013 in the Chapel. Burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Gray, Jerry Reid, Jarred Wyatt, Aaron Middleton, Jimmy Lynn Caldwell and Trent Middleton.
Honorary pallbearers will be Stacy Middleton, Jeremy Gray, Keith Crawford, Brad Crawford, Jamie Middleton and Kelton Chandler.
