Gladys Moushian, (pronounced “MOO-she-in”) age 87, of Flippin, Arkansas passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013. She was born July 14, 1925 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada to the late Thomas and Violet (Graham) McIlwain. She moved to the area in 2001. Gladys was a homemaker, and a member of Rea Valley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Moushian is survived by four daughters: Lorraine Homer of Fort Worth, Texas; Deborah Hickman of Flippin, Arkansas; Mary Marentette of Kingsley, Michigan; and Denise Maw of Utah; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moushian; her sister, Helen Moore; her brother, William McIlwain; a daughter, Kathleen Carver; and a grandson, Matthew Landers.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Rea Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Gilliland officiating.
