Vivian R. Ramsey, of Harrison, was called to the Lord on February 2, 2013 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She was 83 years old.

Visitation is Tuesday, Feb. 5 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Graveside service is Wednesday, Feb. 6 at Hilltop Cemetery with James Verlin Brown conducting the service. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, David Eastep, Daniel Ramsey, Joshua Ramsey, Jason Ramsey, Matt Ramsey, and Scott Ramsey.

The daughter of Charlie and Virgie (Gifford) Coker was born on May 30, 1929 at Capps, AR.

Vivian worked as an LPN at the Harrison Nursing Home for 30 years before she retired and became an avid gardener and quilter.

She attended the Batavia Assembly of God Church.

Her husband, Hasson H. Ramsey; her parents; son-in-law, Jack Goodall; grandchild, Freddie D. Ramsey; two sisters; and three brothers preceded her in death.

Survivors include her four children, Linda Eastep, Larry Ramsey, Kathy Goodall, and Roger Ramsey; her brother, Gene Coker, of Fairview, KS; 14 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to Hilltop Cemetery for the upkeep of the cemetery, c/o Jean Borland 10911 Hwy 43 S., Harrison, AR 72601.
