Dorrance "Slick" Hugh Patton

Dorrance "Slick" Hugh Patton left this life behind at 7:55 am with his family by his side in his home on February 22, 2013 at the age of 77.

He married Dolly Studdard from Mountain Home on November 3, 1963 in Kansas City, Kansas.  They moved to Dallas, Texas where he worked for Frito-Lay.  They then moved back to Pyatt where they built a grocery and service station called Patton's DX Station.  A few years later they decided to buy some flat bottom boats and canoes and got into the floating business.  Slick was a wonderful sportsman who loved coon hunting, deer hunting and fishing.

Preceded in deathy by:  His parents, 4 sisters:  Viva Horsley, Ava Horsley, Pauline Bearitson, and Lucy Ellen Patton; 3 brothers: C.G Patton, C. H. Patton , and an infant brother.

Survived by Spouse:  Dolly Patton of the home, Sons:  Randy Patton of Harrison and Darrell Patton and wife Noelle of Harrison, Daughter:  Mary Beth Anderson and husban Blake of Pyatt, Sister:  Lucille Royal of Pyatt and Brother:  C. L. Patton of Pyatt.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 at Pyatt Baptist Church with burial in the Patton Family Cemetery.
