Kathy Veach, of Harrison, passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. She was 54 years old.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 28 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be on Friday, March 1 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Chapel. Rev. Tollie Sutterfield will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers are Josh Veach, Jackie Veach, Archie Veach, Archie Veach, Jr., Brandon Williams, Brandon Chaney, David Hicks, and Tim Flippo. Honorary pallbearers are Hoppy Hopkins, Phillip Millsap, Perry Goolsby, Daniel Caudle, David Caudle, Mark Humphries, and Gary Daniels.

The daughter of Dennis Garfield and Ola Faye (Horton) Ragland was born on July 1, 1958 in Harrison, AR.

Kathy enjoyed taking care of her animals and loved them all dearly. She also enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family and friends.

Her parents; a sister, Janice Ragland; and a brother, Darrell Redman preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Jackie Bruce Veach; a son and his wife, Joshua and Lori Veach; a daughter and her fiancé, Sonya Veach and Brandon Williams; a brother, Wesley Ragland; three sisters, Nancy Rogers and her husband, Bill, Merle Ray, and Earlene Ford; four grandchildren, Racheal Veach, Cameron Fischer, Tryston Fischer, and Eric Arnold; and many other family and friends whom she loved dearly.
