Barbara Elsie Taylor, age 88, of Anderson Flat, AR, died on March 2, 2013, at Harrison, AR. She was born on February 27, 1925, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harry E. and Bessie Marie (Vance) Allen.

Graveside services are 2 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Anderson Flat Cemetery with friends and family serving as pallbearers. Rev. Darrin Rainbolt will be speaking. Open visitation at the funeral home all day Monday, March 4, 2013.

Mrs Taylor was employed at the Shirt Factory for about 10 years but spent most of her life growing a garden, splitting wood and taking care of her children.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Garland Taylor, grandson Jerry Terrill, son-in-law Lee Terrill and a sister Gertrude Allen. She is survived by, a son William and wife Melinda Taylor of Harrison; two daughters, Maye Sadler of Beebe, AR and Faye Terrill of Everton, AR; two sisters, Crystal Lee Cisco of Okla and Delilah Payne of Harrison; 6 grandchildren, Deadra Goodin of Bentonville, Susan and husband Roger Trimble of Cotter, Debbie and husband Marc Lowery of Harrison, Glenna Walker of McRae, Becky and husband Bo Pruitt of El Paso and Josh Taylor; and 7 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial may be made to the Anderson Flat cemetery fund.
