Dale Metcalf, of Harrison, passed away on March 4, 2013 at his home. He was 46 years old.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel .

The son of Robert Metcalf and Patty Hudson was born on April 20, 1966 in San Diego, CA.

Dale was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He lived his life according to one simple motto, "Life is Beautiful."

His parents preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle (Borland) Metcalf; three sons, Justin Mattix, and his wife, Erin, Adam Metcalf, and Josh Mattix; grandkids, Marshall Scott, Dawson Mattix, and Gracelynn Mattix; five sisters, Mallissa Coffman, Jeanna Rogers, Cindy Martin and her husband, Vernon, Nina Borland and her husband, Rusty Gordon, and Maria Shell and her husband, Pat; eight nieces and nephews; one great niece; and one great nephew.
