Henry Dahlman McFarland, Jr., age 71, of Yellville, Arkansas and formerly of Puyallup, Washington, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 in Yellville.

He was born in Bremerton, Washington on August 11, 1941 to Henry Dahlman and Gladys McFarland, Sr.  He had been employed as an office clerk with U.S. Oil and Refinery.  Mr. McFarland was a Christian by faith, and had moved to the area two years ago from Washington.

He is survived by three daughters: Heather Avise of Yellville; Shannon McFarland of Puyallup, Washington; and Pamela Yachdav of El Cerrito, California; a brother, Alfred McFarland or Port Orchard, Washington; a sister, Lenore Faulk of Bonney Lake, Washington; four grandsons; and three granddaughters.

Local arrangements are by Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.  Mr. McFarland’s family will hold a memorial service at a later date in Washington state.
