Ella Marie Norvell, of Fayetteville, passed away on October 22, 2012 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was 90 years old.

Open visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Holt Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, October 23, 2012.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 11:00 at White Oak Cemetery. Brother Bud Byerley will officiate. Honorary pallbearers are her grandsons.

The daughter of Oran and Myrtle (Gann) Walker was born on April 22, 1922 in the White Oak Community.

Ella enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Norvell; her parents; a sister, Rosamae Ingram; and a daughter-in-law, Lily Jo Norvell.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Roy and Carolyn Norvell, of Rogers, AR, and Richard and Roxanne Norvell, of Flintville, TN; two daughters and their husbands, Emma and Terry Carson and Elaine and Ben Thompson, all of Fayetteville; two sisters, Eva Sansing, of Harrison, and Ora Russell, of Baton Rouge, LA; six grandchildren, Tony Norvell, of Rogers, Victor Norvell and wife, Rhonda, of Bentonville, Kathy Norvell, of Bella Vista, Kristina Jaramillo, of Bosque Farms, NM, Brett Thompson and wife, Joanna, of Fayetteville, and Cole Thompson, of Fayetteville; and three great grandchildren.
