Rita Joyce Nichols passed away October 29, 2012, at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. The daughter of Clyde and Iva Ryals Williams, she was born July 28, 1937 in Everton. Mrs. Nichols was a graduate of Bruno School and retired from Levi Straus after 32 years.

She is survived by her husband, John Nichols, of the home, whom she married April 12, 1957, celebrating 55 years of marriage in 2012. She was the proud mother of three children, Johnny Nichols and wife Cheryl of Bergman, Sam Nichols and wife Tina of Greenbrier, and daughter Debi Sandefur and husband Alan of Everton. She leaves six grandchildren, Nikki Morton of Barnwell, South Carolina, Jonathan Nichols of Conway, Emily Joiner of Branson, Missouri, Timothy Nichols of St. Louis, Missouri, Eli Nichols of Conway and Shelby Nichols of Conway. She is also survived by her brother, Jerry Williams, of Omaha; and a sister, Barbara Spears, of Colorado Springs, Colorado; as well as many other family and friends.

Services will be 10 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2012, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home with Jerry “Cub” Scott speaking and burial in Crawford Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from 6-8 PM, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Nichols, Timothy Nichols, Eli Nichols, Derek Williams, Josh Morton and Michael Starkey.
