Glenda Charlene Tucker, age 78 of Oxley, Arkansas passed away October 29, 2012 at the Stone County Medical Center in Mountain View, Arkansas.
She was born in Oxley on August 18, 1934 to the late Charles and Arretha Passmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Tucker.
Her greatest joys in life were her faith, family and her antiques business. She was known in the community for her generous and kind spirit. She was always willing to lend a hand and lovingly put the needs of others before her own.
Her memory is carried on by her daughter, Pat Halsted of Marshall, and her son, Mike Holley of Oxley. She is also survived by her two brothers, Jerry Passmore of Leslie, Arkansas and Dale Passmore of Blue Springs, Missouri, and her sister and constant companion, Loretta Smith of Oxley. She is dearly loved as "Granny" by her five grandchildren, Josie Horton of Hot Springs, Kerry Felling of Greenbrier, Amanda Halsted of Fayetteville, Michael Brent Holley of Leslie, Robin Stone of Leslie, her 12 great grandchildren and 1 great -great grandchild. Other survivors include her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 31, at 1:00 PM at the Oxley Baptist Church , of which she was a member for many years, with Tommy Jolly officiating. Burial will be in the Kuykendall Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Michael Brent Holley, Wesley Smith, Wade Smith, Ronnie Harness, Kyle Felling, and Tim Stone.
Granny will be greatly missed by her family, loved ones and all who knew her.
