Jean Putman, of Harrison, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She was 77 years old.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting at Noon at Holt Memorial Chapel. Terry Frizzell will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Keith Pettit, Kent Pettit, Matthew Pettit, Jim Riddle, Jason McCollom, and Rob Stratton.

The daughter of Earnest Lee and Bertha Bernice (Clark) Moore was born on January 22, 1935 in Zinc, AR.

Jean was a member of the Bellefonte Church of Christ for almost 60 years.

She enjoyed quilting, fishing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her parents preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, John C. Putman, of the home; one son and his wife, John R. and Jana Putman, of Harrison; one daughter, Pamela K. Putman, of Fayetteville; one sister, Sharon Pettit, of Harmon; two grandchildren, John Ryan Riddle and Jessica Riddle McCollom; four great grandchildren, Zoe, Sage, Stella, and Phoebe Riddle; and one great great grandson, Landon Riddle.
