Charles Wesley Curley, age 73, of Yellville, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.
Born January 7, 1939 to the late Robert James and Galena (Lewis) Curley in Konawa, Oklahoma, he was a carpenter by profession. Mr. Curley had lived in the area for sixteen years, coming here form Fort Meyers, Florida. He was a member Church on the Rock in Yellville, and also attended Lakeway Fellowship. Charles was a United States Army veteran. He served as an EMT in Fort Hood, Texas and was a volunteer for the Lakeway Volunteer Fire Department as a first responder, a fireman, and an EMT. He was a loving husband, father, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Mikki Curley of Yellville;
two daughters: Melinda Fink of Austin, Texas; and Pamela Curley of Shawnee, Oklahoma;
step-daughter Genevieve Torrey and husband, Mike, of Lawndale, California;
three step-sons: Earl James Eichenlaub and wife, Joni; Steven Craig Eichenlaub; and Robert LeRoy Eichenlaub, all of Houston, Texas;
sixteen grandchildren;
and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Charles Hurst Curley; a brother, Robert Curley; and a grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Mr. Curley at 2:00 pm Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Church on the Rock in Yellville.
