Dorothy Faye Packer, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison. She was 92 years old.

Visitation will be on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Holt Memorial Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

Graveside services will be private.

The daughter of Ross and Eva (Long) Carter was born on February 15, 1920 in Fallsville, AR.

She was the widow of Spencer Edgmon. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Noal Dean Edgmon; and two daughters, Loretta Anderson and Darlene Reed.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Shirley and Tom Grossnickle, of Overland Park, KS; a brother, Gerald Carter, of Compton, AR; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren
