Viola Brandhorst, age 98, of Yellville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Arkansas.  Born March 19, 1914 in Summit, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Logan and Sarah Jane (Stalnaker) Pope, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and a homemaker.

 She is survived by four sons: James Eaton, Bill Eaton,  and Robert Eaton all of Summit, Arkansas; and Lester Eaton of Valley Springs, Arkansas; one daughter, Jane Walker of Green Forest, Arkansas; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. 

 She was preceded in death by her two husbands: Harvey Eaton, and William Brandhorst; two sons: Harvey Eaton and Chester Eaton; and a daughter, Geneta Hodges.

 The family will conduct a memorial service at 2:00 pm Friday, December 21, 2012 at Lee’s Mountain Cemetery near Summit with William Wood officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Yellville, Arkansas.
